Michal Bezák


Michal Bezák is an attorney-at-law who co-operates with SEMANČÍN & PARTNERS.

During his practice he has earned extensive experience especially in the field of the family law, inheritance, ownership between married spouses including its modifications as well as changes and dissolution of such ownership, also in the field of ownership between unmarried spouses. In addition, he represents clients before the family court.  

Thanks to his extensive experience with pre-trial proceedings and main trials, he is well placed for advising his clients on issues of criminal law. Michal has represented many clients in criminal proceedings and offers legal services throughout all stages of criminal proceedings. His particular areas of interest are complaints filed against decisions and resolutions of investigative and prosecuting authorities, legal assistance to clients in custody, representing clients in criminal proceedings, reviewing the conditions for potential agreement on guilt and punishment between the prosecutor and client.

His core focus is on economic crimes, particularly crimes related to corporate criminal liability.

Other areas of his work include tax law, including the representation of clients at tax audits and in tax proceedings before tax administrators. Michal has also represented clients in tax litigation.

He also advises on employment and corporate law.

In these practice areas, Michal represents clients in proceedings before the general Slovak courts of law, arbitration bodies and Slovak public authorities.
